Dear Friends and Partners,
We welcome and invite you to help us Lead with Love at this year’s Pride Festival of Central Pennsylvania— PrideFest ‘24. This year marks our 32nd anniversary of producing the largest public celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride in Central Pennsylvania!

Being the first Pride Festival to be conducted on the grounds of a State Capitol in 2018, PrideFest ’23 witnessed the return of over 6,000 individuals and over 180 vendors! We will return to Soldiers and Sailors Grove on July 27, 2024 behind the beautiful State Capitol building to celebrate the diversity, harmony and pride in who we as Americans strive daily to be—productive citizens of our great nation and Commonwealth!

And, after an absence of more than a decade, the official Central PA Pride Parade will make a spectacular return to the Capital City! The parade will kick off an hour prior to the start of PrideFest ’24!

As a project of the Black & White Party, Inc., a recognized 501(c)3 organization, we rely on the kind and generous support of corporations, local businesses and donors in the community to help fund the success of Pride each year.

PFCPA works hard to utilize your contributions in order to maximize the positive impact the festival will have on our local community on Pride Day and throughout the year. Our Pride Gives Back grants have donated over $35,000 to such likeminded groups as Alder Health Services, Central PA Womyn’s Chorus, Metropolitan Community Church of Harrisburg (MCC), PFLAG Harrisburg, PA Coalition Against Violence, and PA Trans Advocacy since 2022!

This packet provides information about our organization, sponsorship opportunities, benefits, and promotional items provided with your sponsorship. We’ll be happy to work with your organization or company to develop sponsorships tailored to meet your needs. Please go to centralpapride.org/sponsors to get started!

The Pride Festival of Central PA is proud of last year’s effort and extremely excited about PrideFest ’24! We enthusiastically look forward to celebrate and further support of the LGBTQ+ community with the help of your generosity. In advance, we express our sincerest thanks and appreciation of your consideration of support.

Sincerely,

Dr. Eric W.Selvey
